A hand-lettered illustration of the Pelican State—Louisiana! This archival giclee reproduction print is part of the 50 States series—you’ll find all 50 state designs here.
From Baton Rouge to the Big Easy, Louisiana’s got heart and soul. This illustration is chock full of our favorite state icons: the French Quarter in New Orleans, a cypress-and-moss bayou, jazz and Creole music, a Mississippi riverboat, a Mardi Gras mask—and of course, a big old platter of beignets. Crowning it all are a brown pelican and a magnolia blossom—the state bird and flower.
The print is a museum-quality inkjet reproduction, using Epson HDR Ultrachrome archival inks on heavy 100% rag (cotton) Moab Entrada natural white paper. Each print is signed and dated in pencil, but not numbered. Available in two sizes: 9 x 12 inches (22.8 x 30.4 cm) and 11 x 14 inches (27.9 x 35.6 cm)
