PAPER FINISH: this postcard is made from paper with a smooth, eggshell finish. If you write on it, we recommend using either a ballpoint pen or some form of permanent, smear-proof ink.

Colophon on the back of the card reads:

The Emerald City is stitched together with a patchwork of raised garden beds, thanks to the green thumbs of the Picardo Family. When the Picardo Farm became Seattle’s first community garden in 1973, the nickname P-Patch took root – and to this day remains a moniker unique to Seattle. Hand-lettered one lush rainy day in Washington.
