Description
A hand-lettered illustration of the Land of the Midnight Sun—Alaska! This archival giclee reproduction print is part of the 50 States series—you’ll find all 50 state designs here.
With its remote mountain ranges and winter wonderlands, Alaska really is the final frontier. This illustration is chock full of our favorite state icons: sled dogs, wild whales, running salmon, Alaska Native masks and totem poles, polar and grizzly bears—and if you look closely, the northern glow of the aurora borealis. Finishing it all off are a willow ptarmigan and a spray of forget-me-nots—the state bird and flower.
(This design is also available as a greeting card!)
The print is a museum-quality inkjet reproduction, using Epson HDR Ultrachrome archival inks on heavy 100% rag (cotton) Moab Entrada natural white paper. Each print is signed and dated in pencil, but not numbered. Available in two sizes: 9 x 12 inches (22.8 x 30.4 cm) and 11 x 14 inches (27.9 x 35.6 cm)
