Description
A hand-lettered illustration of the Sunflower State—Kansas! This archival giclee reproduction print is part of the 50 States series—you’ll find all 50 state designs here.
Dorothy was right: there’s no place like Kansas. From the Flint Hills to Dodge City and everything in between, Kansas is overflowing with history and charm. This illustration is chock full of some of our favorite state icons: Route 66, Kansas City barbecue, Yoder’s Amish country, Fort Larned, the Kansas Cosmosphere—and of course, Dorothy’s ruby slippers. Completing the design are the sunflower and western meadowlark—the state flower and bird.
(This design is also available as a greeting card!)
The print is a museum-quality inkjet reproduction, using Epson HDR Ultrachrome archival inks on heavy 100% rag (cotton) Moab Entrada natural white paper. Each print is signed and dated in pencil, but not numbered. Available in two sizes: 9 x 12 inches (22.8 x 30.4 cm) and 11 x 14 inches (27.9 x 35.6 cm)
