Description
A hand-lettered illustration of the Tarheel State—North Carolina! This archival giclee reproduction print is part of the 50 States series—you’ll find all 50 state designs here.
From Blackbeard to barbecue to the Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina’s got adventure from end to end. This illustration is chock full of our favorite state icons: the Biltmore, a trio of lighthouses, the pine barrens tree frog, bountiful agriculture—and of course, the Wright brothers’ first flight at Kitty Hawk. Crowning it all are a northern cardinal and a branch of flowering dogwood—the state bird and flower.
(This design is also available as a greeting card!)
The print is a museum-quality inkjet reproduction, using Epson HDR Ultrachrome archival inks on heavy 100% rag (cotton) Moab Entrada natural white paper. Each print is signed and dated in pencil, but not numbered. Available in two sizes: 9 x 12 inches (22.8 x 30.4 cm) and 11 x 14 inches (27.9 x 35.6 cm)
