In 2019 my “Flock” series of bird illustrations turned ten years old! Since my bird cards are still my most popular greetings, after all these years, I decided to celebrate with two new bird designs, the first new ones in a decade! (The other new card is the American Crow card.)

This blank greeting card depicts a Black-capped Chickadee perched on an evergreen branch. Thanks to its distinctive vocal calls, the chickadee is a widely recognizable backyard bird, and a “gateway bird” for budding birders. The illustration is from my “Flock” series of bird illustrations, featuring a wide variety of Pacific Northwest bird species.
