Italy sketchbook postcards, set of 7

These postcards are reproductions of my sketchbook drawings. I spent a year living and working in Italy, and compiled hundreds of drawings and paintings during my time there. These are a selection of some of my favorite watercolors, depicting iconic sites around the country.

There are 7 different designs in this postcard set:

• Forum Columns, Rome
• Street of Houses, Gubbio
• Ponte Sant’Angelo (Angel Statue), Rome
• Lanterns, Venice
• Winged Lion, Rome
• La Fontana delle Tartarughe (Turtles), Rome
• Laundry, Venice

The original sketchbook drawings were created in person and from life, on location, in graphite and ink and painted with watercolor. The postcards are a faithful reproduction of the originals, and each has a slightly muted, vintage look to it. The back of each postcard contains the same design, inspired by a found vintage postcard back.

These postcards would make a wonderful souvenir for the traveler—and the perfect gift for anyone who holds a special place for Italy in their heart. Frame them as small pieces of art, or send a little bit of Italy in the post!

Printed on recycled, uncoated (matte) 100-lb cover-weight paper
