Description
An archival giclee print of an original Tacoma daffodil design! This illustration originally began as a public art piece, part of a traffic utility box wrap that I designed for the City of Tacoma. You can still find my traffic boxes around Tacoma, especially near community or P-Patch gardens (N. 21st and Proctor; South Dock Street; S. 12th St. and Union Avenue, etc.).
Whether you’re a gardener, a city booster, or just proud of your town, this print makes the perfect accent piece or housewarming gift. The illustration captures Tacoma’s agricultural history as a once-prominent daffodil producer. That daffodil connection is still present throughout the city in home gardens and the annual spring Daffodil Parade.
The hand-lettered illustration is based on vintage seed packet design, and has a nostalgic, historical feel to it—yet it is printed in sunny, modern colors for a contemporary twist.
This print is a museum-quality inkjet reproduction, using Epson HDR Ultrachrome archival inks on heavy 100% rag (cotton) Moab Entrada natural white paper.
Available in just one size: 11 x 14 inches (27.9 x 35.6 cm).
